Ang Dating Daan, Bro. Daniel Razon, Kaanib.net, big winners at 10th Philippine Web Awards

Members Church of God International's Ang Dating Daan (The Old Path) Web site, angdatingdaan.org, was the year's Most Popular Web site and its sixth, on top of its People's Choice honors in the organizations category.
This was declared at the 10th Philippine Web Awards (PWA) held last November 23 at the Teatrino Bar and Restaurant, Promenade in Greenhills, San Juan. ADD competed against up to 69 local Web sites that qualify in the finals round under 15 different categories.
ADD first competed in the PWA in 2002.
Bro. Daniel Razon, the Church's Vice-Presiding Minister and a popular media personality in the Philippines with TV broadcast works with UNTV 37, was the runaway winner of both Best Web site and People's Choice in the celebrities and personalities category for his danielrazon.com. His Web site competed with GMAnews.tv's Blaze of Glory mini site of Manny Pacquiao, and Alaska Aces' Web site.
Kaanib.net was declared People's favorite site in the community and portal category, and only received its Best Web site award in 2005.
UNTV Network's online home, where several programming by the ADD are aired, was also a big surprise winner of the Best Web site in the media category. Also placing first in the People’s Choice award in its category, Untvweb.com bested Gmanews.tv, last year's winner of Best Web site, and MTV Philippine's Web site.
The Most Popular Web site award and People’s Choice are determined through the number of online and SMS voting. As for the best Web site, the PWA invite local and international pool of juries to select the year’s best Web sites based on the criteria of design, functionality, content and language, accessibility and usability.
Nick Finck, Digital Web Magazine publisher, Carole Guevin, Netdiver digital culture magazine publisher, Peter de Jager, a change management professional, and Office of the President's Leo Alcantara, are among the panel of juries, together with Allan Joseph Batac, Aram Beheshiti, Andy Beaumont, Joseph Mayol and Edgardo Muring, who are experts in the field of graphics and Web design and development, complete the list of the finals judges.
